Prenatal Pilates

Pilates has been proven to be one of best exercises to do, both during and after pregnancy.
 
The Pilates workout is just as famous for helping new moms get their figures back as some of the celebs who swear by it. So many women turn to Pilates to build their core strength and lose the extra baby weight. The strengthening full body workout also helps in relieving lower back and abdomen pain caused by pregnancy and child birth.
 
Some new moms find it very difficult to loose their baby weight. New mom Tiffany Thiessen, 36 says “These last 20 are really super stubborn," (People.com) of the remainder of the 50 lbs she gained during pregnancy. Maybe Tiffany should think about doing Pilates like so many other celebs to lose the extra pounds like Uma Thurman and Christy Turlington.

New moms often prefer Pilates because the movements can be modified to their new rate of working out. Spending time with an instructor who has the time and knowledge to give a new mom a lot of one on one attention is imperative.
